Digital Artists
Digital artist Jerico Santander
Jerico Santander is a freelance art director and photo illustrator based in Spain. I do not know much about Jerico Santander but you only need to see his work to know that Jerico has his very own vision of art. He uses a mix of photography, 3D graphics and digital painting to create expressive worlds. These are my tools and techniques for creating art as well. I feel great joy knowing that an artist I admire proudly proclaims himself a digital artist. I have been told that digital art was not real art and I should re-think my choices and artistic direction. I was speechless until I remembered Jerico Santander, a respected artist who has worked with agencies and brands all over the world. Jerico, who has collaborated with some of the most prestigious art magazines, would say that computers make great artist’s tools.
His use of color and surrealism are the keystone that sustain his compositions. KompostTV
Digital Artist Ricardo Salamanca
Ricardo Salamanca‘s vision is impressive. He has an extreme working knowledge of digital art tools but is an artist with or without the digital aspects. I am thoroughly confident this gentleman would create the same caliber of art no matter what medium he chooses. From the website WIKI Notica, the following paragraph.
The Chilean Ricardo Salamanca is definitely one of the best digital artists in Latin America. Many works of this master photographer and Photoshop were used by Sony PlayStation for their advertisements and personal portfolio is just stunning. WIKI Notica
Digital Artist Russ Mills
Russ Mills is an artist who coins phrases like Byroglyphics™ which makes digitally creative people like me happy. This artist earned his ability and insight after decades of intuitive labor . He has perfected his true calling of portraiture. Mills reveals human strength with a spattered measure of frailty. His forms, created with a mix of traditional media and digital imaging, speak to the juxtaposition of being. In his biography, Mills explains, the mix of media is key. Textures and forms are married in a way not possible through traditional means and homogenized into a two dimensional plane of non-existence.
I adore this artist’s work and will begin my Mills print collection asap. You can buy Russ Mills art prints at Gallery 500 Feet.
My work occupies an inter-dimensional space, never entirely seated in reality. I attempt to tackle the isolation, insignificance and fear that each day delivers by channeling that negative energy into something useful that others may find engaging. –Russ Mills
