Design Tools, Page Division

Design Tools, Page Division Design tools for website developers.. Going to add a few of my favorite site tools. As Craig Grannell of .net says,” it’s been a year of design shifts, evolving device usage, and web consumption adjustments, all of which will impact on designers and developers.” Times they are a changing. 2012 was full of standardizing and best practices. I believe we will see a more unified structuring and universal easy to use tools to help us achieve that structure.

I will demonstrate the design tool, page division in the next two paragraphs and give a definition below. Thanks for your patience if you just wanted read about art. I do mix are and web design everyday, I think they work well together. On with the division…

An article released recently by .net titled, 20 must-know web design and development trends for 2013… check out the list and see if your site is up to standards and on the cutting edge of today’s technology. User interface has changed, it is now a world of touch and slide. How does this play into your site as it stands? Does your CSS system have the ability to stand next to the sites most popular now? I think interactive websites will be the future if not already.
Giving your visitor something to do is always a great idea, give them something to do while educating and informing in a fun way and you’ve got yourself a grand idea. I’m going to read the article and see if RWD Responsive Web Design, Multi-Device Design, Learner, performance-focused websites and all the rest that .net has to share,  is a good direction for my internet presence. I know my site does comply with the standards of yesterday, but does it comply with the standards of today?

Design Tool, Page Division:

I am using a one_half code to post the page’s text and image. You can access this tool on the WordPress edit box under ‘Text’ at the upper right hand corner. The other choice is ‘Visual’. You may divide your page or post into any number of divisions and combinations.

You can have three separate defined spaces in what is typically one space. In that case you would choose one-third for the first area, one-third for the second and one-third last for the third and last area. It looks really cool and keeps your site clean looking.
